Noel Nouvelet is a carol melody of French origin from the late 15th century, while Salterello is an Italian dance tune from around 1390. Nos Galan is a traditional Welsh tune dating from the sixteenth century which is now often sung to the words Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly.
